About the event
The Victoria HarbourCats Foundation is thrilled to announce a Charity Slo-Pitch Softball Game, featuring local First Responders and Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Famers. This exciting event will take place at City of Victoria’s historic Royal Athletic Park, on Sunday, July 13, 2023, with game time at 12:00 pm. This fun-filled family afternoon aims to bring together the Greater Victoria community while supporting local heroes and honouring the achievements of local sports legends, in the spirit of friendly competition, entertainment, and community engagement. Spectators can anticipate an enticing atmosphere with live music, delicious food concessions, and activities for fans of all ages. This charity game will raise funds for the Victoria HarbourCats Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to making baseball and softball affordable for all children. Whether it be assisting in the purchasing of much-need equipment, education, or fee support, the Victoria HarbourCats Foundation strives to foster the growth and sustainability of baseball and softball so that all youth enjoy the opportunity to play these wonderful pastimes. Our Foundation would like to express gratitude to the City of Victoria, the Victoria HarbourCats Baseball Club, event sponsors, community partners, and volunteers who have generously supported this initiative - and of course the First Responders and Sports Hall of Famers! Everyone's dedication and commitment have been instrumental in bringing this "Field of Dreams" dream to reality. Tickets for the Charity Slo-Pitch Game can be purchased online. Prices for all seats, all sections = $10 each. Join us for an unforgettable day of softball action, community engagement, and philanthropy, as the our local First Responders face off against the Greater Victoria Sports Hall of Famers. Together let's celebrate our local heroes, honour our community's legends, and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
