Raise Funds for your Organization

The Victoria HarbourCats Foundation has partnered with the Victoria HarbourCats Baseball Club to bring you 50/50 ticket sales once again in the 2025 season. 

This year, the 50/50 net proceeds will be split evenly between the Victoria HarbourCats Foundation and our approved applicants. Ultimately, this is more of a 50/20/20 (50% to the winner, 20% to the VHCF, 20% to our partner, and 10% to processing fees). We will donate these funds to your eligible organization in exchange for your volunteer hours selling tickets. The HarbourCats Foundation will also bear the responsibility of paying the taxes from these events. 

By our estimations, your organization should walk away with roughly $783 on the average night at the ballpark ($3915 jackpot) for approximately three hours of volunteers selling tickets, watching a WCL baseball game, and enjoying the sun on a summer evening. The other $783 will be retained by the Victoria HarbourCats Foundation towards other community initiatives or youth sports of our choice. Of course, the more you sell, the more you will earn!

In our inaugural year last season, we sold an incredible $130,700 in 50/50 ticket sales using digital platforms!!! Ticket sales were up 350% and crowd sizes easily averaged 2500+ people. With this really strong foundation to our program, we were able to donate over $50,000 to our community to help underprivileged kids participate in team sports as well as help our participating partners with their overhead and operating costs.

Our mission in 2025 is to do more. We want to cross the threshold of $150,000 in ticket sales and get even more money into the hands of those who could benefit greatly, increasing our registration numbers in local organizations and helping them operate with inclusiveness at the forefront.

The HarbourCats' scheduled nights for fireworks are expected to be our biggest jackpots of the year. In 2025, there are 4 designated fireworks nights. In order to ensure fairness to all of our applicants, these games will be randomly assigned with a generator.
